Diabetics at Pizza Hut

Pizza is neither a great meal nor the worst for diabetes. All you need is some fact check and monitoring while ordering your pizza. Diabetics can opt for thin crust or skinny pizza at Pizza Hut and avoid the cheese topping to cut down on the excess fat and sodium. If you have diabetes, then ensure to check your portion size when you order a pizza. One or max. two slices are enough. You can also avoid meat if possible and go for wings as a meat option.

Foods to Avoid at Pizza Hut for Diabetics:

You must avoid Meat Lovers Pizza with Original Pan Crust as it contains over 1000mg sodium and will add 470 calories in your meal. You should also skip Super Supreme Pizza Large Original Pan Slice which is too high in sodium and fat. Chicken wings are often tempting but you must control and restrict yourself from ordering Traditional Honey BBQ Bone-in Wings as it can add up to your sugar levels if you eat too many. On average, a person orders or consumes six chicken wings pieces in a day.

Sides must be avoided at all costs especially if it's Bacon Cheddar Fries with Ranch Dipping Cup for its high sodium content. You must also avoid New York Style Cheesecake with Applesauce as dessert as one slice of this dessert item contains 86g sugar. Pizza Hut also offers other Italian dishes such as Pasta. However, you must skip Spaghetti with Meat Sauce and Meatballs and Garlic Bread as it is too high in sodium and sugar.

High Cholesterol at Pizza Hut

Whether large, medium or small, a pizza can boost your cholesterol levels instantly. You shouldn't eat more than one slice of any pizza your order at Pizza Hut. If you're concerned with your high cholesterol, then it is wise to take your friends to Pizza Hut and share pizza among them slice by slice. You can also try pasta at Pizza Hut but ensure that you are not adding any dressing or extra cheese as you order pasta.

I live nearby, pizza heaven has become the clutch option for me now that drizzle is closed... Mary Ann and Dan "the danimal" are wicked friendly and pizza heaven hooks it up with some fresh ingredients and whatnot. I'm really happy with them and look forward to ordering from here again!

Really good pizza, tried for the first time today. Was getting out of work late and thought I'd give it a try. Nice clean place, all the staff was friendly and pleasant . After placing my order and waiting a couple of minutes I noticed they had Pigs Ear Brown Ale on tap . Got a glass and it was tremendous! Reason enough to stop in, got home had the pizza and wished I had some Pigs Ear in the fridge. I'll be back for the pizza and the Pigs Ear

Very good pizza. The crust is airy and has some flavor, the sauce is sweet, but not so sweet that it doesn't taste right. Good amounts of cheese and toppings. Fast delivery and friendly staff. With that said, the chicken parm dinner was pretty awful. Stick to the pizza and you will be fine.

The pizza here is pretty good with some fun specialty pizzas like the "captain insano". I'll definitely have to try some of their other menu items. I definitely give a lot of credit to the employees who work in that hot restaurant with no AC. Service is fast and friendly.

I am a very specific pizza person, I don't like it often and when I do it has to be perfect. I have gotten several pizzas from here now and I must say it fits the bill. They give you plenty of toppings without overloading the dough and the flavor is rich and fresh. I have gotten pizza from every place within delivery range, but I won't be going anywhere else now that this place is here.

Wow, I have not written a review on Yelp in years... But being on the site today, Pizza Heaven was the place that popped into my mind first to review. I think Pizza Heaven is great. The cheese is better than what I have reviewed as the best in pizza on yelp in the past. The actual pizza crust is a little buttery (almost like an Uno's crust but not as thick). It is a super friendly place and very casual. I have tried many sandwiches, sides and pizzas and they have all been great. I would recommend Pizza Heaven highly and it has become our goto pizza spot lately. The only reason I did not give them 4 stars is that since it is a new pizza place and I anticipate the pizza will get even better. In fact, it seems to get better every time we go. I look forward to reviewing this post to a 5 soon.

This place has become a favorite here with their specialty pizzas. Good toppings, lots of variety and a crust that is not too thin or thick. Their pizza prices are one of the highest in area. But like I said the specialty ones are worth it. Whats not worth to me is their sandwiches. I had a Godfather Italian sub and it was filling enough, but it was all sauce, onions, tomatoes, etc...There was a serious lack of meat in it for the price. I mean like a single slice of maybe 3 kinds there. Even the cheese they put in it is a rip off. Overall to me it hardly had a taste of an Italian grinder at all, but rather all the cheap filler. For the price its the worst Italian grinder I have had in town. I have the same opinion of their turkey sandwich too, the only other sandwich I have gotten there. Skimpy on the meat and cheese big time and lots of filler and sauce. Really sad. Also, I don't like their pricing on the sandwiches. Unlike the pizzas which are priced quite a bit apart as to small and large, the sandwiches prices are very close to one other as to small and large. In the case of the Godfather it was less than $1, and is on most. Just about everyone is going to spring for the large figuring it is the best deal, and for me it was totally unsatisfactory. Make that downright cheap. I like this place, but will be sticking to the pizzas until when and if they actually start putting some real meat in their sandwiches..

Tried Pizza Heaven for the first time last week. We ordered cheese for the little ones, a bacon and cheese and a Philly cheese steak for the rest of us. The delivery service was faster than the 40 minutes they quoted, so that was a bonus. Everyone LOVED the pizza and we will definitely be ordering again.

Tried Pizza Heaven tonight, put in a last minute call at 10:30 and they were happy to take my order. Delivery was prompt and less time then was stated. Gyro was delicious. Onion rings seemed to be handmade and not frozen, Salad was fresh and tasty. I'll order again.

i'm a local, and i love this place. the pizza's good, but the calzones are awesome. most importantly they get it right, unlike many places these days. i order delivery and they're always accurate and quick. i've picked up a few times, and it's a cozy place. they seem like cool people, definitely running a good local eatery.

This is our go-to pizza place. We probably order from them once every two weeks, and I don't think we've ever had a problem. The pizza is always fresh and tasty, and the sandwiches are great, with good quality bread. Sometimes I choose a salad, and that can be risky when the specialty is pizza - but so far so good at Pizza Heaven. The salads I've gotten have been nice and fresh. A huge bonus for us is that they offer turkey pepperoni for a topping, which we love, but so few places have it. They also offer vegan "cheese" and gluten-free crust. We've never tried either of those, but I always prefer pizza restaurants that give people a wide variety of options. I've never eaten inside, but my husband took the kids once and he said it was clean and comfortable. Usually we do take-out, but when we have done delivery, it was prompt and painless. So yeah. No complaints, lots of yum.

I had a chicken BBQ pizza from this place and I'm not sure it was chicken. And I was sick the rest of the night. I also had a spinach pie on a separate time it wasn't bad not great but ok

My coworker and I decided to get pizza here bc we had a flyer delivered to our work place and it had a coupon for 2 large pizzas for 22.99. We did that because a small is about 10 anyway, why not? I called and before I said anything I told him I had this coupon for 2 large pizzas and a 2 liter drink for 22.99. He said ok. I placed our order and that was that. My coworker who picked it up, came back and told me our 22.99 deal was more like 35! I was shocked! Why? Because the woman at the counter told her our coupon wasn't valid for these only 2 topping pizzas. So my taco pizza which is what? Meat tomato and lettuce and hers with 2 toppings didn't apply. So why should we have to pay all that extra money when I told the employee on the phone what we were doing and said NOTHING about this not applying. We work in retail and we know how it is with customers but this was THEIR MISTAKE and this coupon had no restriction on it. If he would of told me on the phone I would of said ok, I'll call you back. I would never spend over 15$ on lunch. I was going to give 1 star but the pizza is really good.

Cute little place. They have pizza by the slice but the options available are only cheese and pepperoni. Also the pizza sitting in the window looked pretty dry, so I didn't try any. I decided to go with a sandwich, and I usually like to try whatever the house specialty is so I went with "Vins Chicken Sandwich". It was delicious. The chipotle aioli sauce they put on the sandwich is very good...flavorful with a kick. The chicken tasted fresh, was grilled to order and the sandwich was ready surprisingly fast. My only complaint is that it was a bit expensive for a "small" sandwich...9 bucks? Either way, I'd go back again. Friendly customer service also.

Solid little pizza place. The steak bomb pizza is very good and the kids love the plain cheese pizza. Also have tried the chicken Parm sandwich and steak and cheese both were excellent. Good customer service.

Been back a couple times since. Still awesome. Fries were better than the last time I went and I've tried the cheesybread too which was good. Fast becoming my go to spot for pizza.

Huge pizza with lots of toppings. We ordered 3 , they were the best we have had in along time. The fresh tomato and mozzarella was very tasty and done just right. My favorite was covered in bacon, ooh yeah off the hook. Pizza is best when loaded with goodies, and this place delivers.

  • Meredith G.

The pizza was good but not great. It was pretty expensive for two smalls - the pizzas could probably feed 3 people and it was almost $30. The taco pizza was bland and needed more spice. Overall okay but this is definitely not going to be my first choice by any means.

Great little pizza place. Can't wait to try more things on the menu, but the pizza was good. Will get more stars from me when they offer wine (hopefully).

  • Anne H.

Just tried pizza heaven, very disappointed. They say thick crust or thin and it is all thin. Sauce has no flavor and the cheese fries were horrible. I hate to give bad reviews first try out, but my family will not go back. Not heaven but h e double hockey sticks.
